A Legacy to Creativity

Making a Planned Gift

There are many ways to financially support DVSA and one of the most impactful is a Planned Gift. For a donor, such gifts are significant and provide a lasting contribution to organizations and programs that are close to their hearts.

Leaving a Planned Gift to DVSA will ensure creativity continues to blossom, positively impacting thousands of children, adults and seniors, across Hamilton and beyond.

Your gift can support

Area of Greatest Need

Allows DVSA to direct your gift where it will be most impactful at the time it is received.

Operations

Assist DVSA with the operational costs of the School and our activities.

Capital Expenditures

Will assist with capital upgrades and maintenance of the School.

Types of planned gifts

DVSA is able to accept the following types of planned gifts:

  • Will: Leave Instructions in your Will for a set amount or a percentage.
  • RRSP/RRIF: Naming DVSA as a beneficiary
  • Insurance: Naming DVSA as a beneficiary
  • Stocks and Bonds: Naming DVSA as a beneficiary or directing a transfer through your Will.

An example of Will Clausing:

I give to Dundas Valley School of Art (11888948RR0001), currently located at 21 Ogilvie Street, Dundas ON, L9H 2S1, {a specific amount or percent of the residue} of my estate. It is my wish that these funds, if practical and possible, be directed as an outright gift (not endowed) and in support of {area of greatest need or specific program/activity}.
