Nancy is a self taught visual artist, working primarily in acrylic, ink and paper. Nancy was born and raised in Port Credit, Ontario and now lives, creates and teaches art in Hamilton, Ontario. She received an honours degree for Sociology & Anthropology attending the University of Guelph. A study abroad program through the university allowed Nancy to live and work in London, England, where her passion for art and design was awakened/rekindled. No longer content as an onlooker, she pursued her passion upon returning home to Toronto. She studied at, among others, Ryerson University, O.C.A.D. and George Brown College.

Nancy completed the Community Artist Educator Training Programme at the Art Gallery of Hamilton in 2009 and the Artist-Educator Training Course Learning Through The Arts (Royal Conservatory) in 2011.

Nancy is an advocate for art in the community, facilitating art workshops at her home studio as well as teaching at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, DVSA, Shalom Village and elementary schools throughout Hamilton with LTTA. Nancy also received her first OAC Artist in Education grant to bring the love of the arts into classrooms all over Hamilton.
