Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Vitaly moved to Canada in 1998 and completed his MFA in Painting at Concordia University after earning a BFA from OCAD. An award-winning artist, he has exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Stuttgart, and Berlin. His work blends imagined spaces with autobiographical, historical, sci‑fi, and mythological references to explore memory, fantasy, and time. Personable and knowledgeable, he leads engaging classes for artists looking to deepen their practice.
