3-Year Bursary

ABOUT DVSA 3-YEAR BURSARIES

DVSA is offering a 3-year bursary that covers the full cost of tuition for a student entering our Diploma in Fine Art Studio Practice and Theory program in the fall of 2024. The bursary is intended to support an applicant from a marginalized or equity-seeking community.

 

 

ELIBILITY

  • Must be able to demonstrate financial need 
  • Intended to support folks from marginalized or equity-seeking communities including, but not limited to living in poverty, Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, disabled folks and 2SLGBTQIA+. 

BURSARY APPLICATION PROCESS

1) Make an application to the Diploma in Fine Art Studio Practice and Theory program before May 1, 2024. Information on how to apply to the program is here.
2) Before May 1, 2024, download and fill out the applicable bursary application form here.
3) Submit the signed and completed form to our Executive Director (instructions for submission are on the application form). 
4) After receiving and reviewing your signed form, the Executive Director will contact you for an informal phone interview. 
5) All bursary applications will be assessed after the May 1st deadline and all applicants will be notified of our decisions by June 15, 2024.  

Note: if you are not selected to receive this 3-year bursary, you are still eligible to apply for financial assistance through our annual bursary program.
