About The Arthur Greenblatt Artist Talk Series
DVSA is proud to launch the Arthur Greenblatt Artist Talk Series, a new annual event welcoming leading national and international artists to our community. Expanding on our regular Artist Talks, this series brings influential voices to DVSA whose work speaks to critical issues in contemporary art. Each visit includes a free, public Artist Talk, as well as dedicated mentorship time with students in our Studio Fine Art Diploma program.
Named in honour of Arthur Greenblatt, DVSA’s Executive Director from 2000 to 2014, the series reflects his commitment to removing barriers between the community and visual arts. Arthur worked hard to expand DVSA’s cultural role in the region and this series continues his legacy by creating new opportunities for the local community to engage with artists shaping today’s art world.
Funding for this initiative is provided by The H.G. Bertram Foundation.
