In DVSA News, Summer Camps

With the announcement from the provincial government that summer camps will be allowed to run this year, we’re preparing for our safety-first Summer Art Camps for Children & Teens. To keep our programs as safe as possible, we have reduced enrolment numbers in all our camp studios – register soon to ensure your family’s spot. If things unexpectedly change and we are unable to run our summer programs, full refunds will be provided.

Have your family take part in an imaginative experience that many children (and parents too!) say is the highlight of summer. Taught by qualified, professional artists, DVSA Summer Art Camps encourage originality and are designed to develop your child’s creative literacy and art skills – all in a fun and supportive studio environment.

Health and safety is paramount and we will continue to strictly adhere to the Ontario Ministry of Health Day Camp guidelines for the prevention of potential COVID-19 transmission. We have further developed the guidelines in relation to DVSA in an effort to meet and/or exceed ministry standards.

Plan Your Day!

Camps run for a full week here at Dundas Valley School of Art. Choose your week(s) and a half or full day camp option for your artist(s). We also offer an on-site Extended Care program (see below) to help accommodate busy schedules.

  • Morning camp programs run from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon camp programs are from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Students staying all day should choose different camps for their morning and afternoon sessions. Children enrolled in both morning and afternoon camps are automatically a part of the supervised lunch program from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. We strive to be peanut/nut free. Please pack lunches and snacks accordingly.

For in-person and phone registrations, be prepared to return a signed waiver form – either via email or dropping it off. We’ll walk you through the process when registering.
You can view and print/save our Child waiver here. Should you need it for adult classes, our Adult waiver is here.

“My daughter had so much fun in her drawing and painting camp! She met new friends and the education she obtained is second to none. I can’t believe her artistic growth in just one week.”
