With the stay-at-home order in place until beyond mid-May, we’ve moved a good number of our Spring courses online. Here’s hoping we’ll be able to open later in the term for a few weeks of in-studio art making when the order ends. For now, give yourself a sense of spring rejuvenation by making art at home in the virtual company of our instructors and fellow artists – it can provide a much needed creative and cheerful boost.
There’s online classes in Drawing, Painting, Pastels, Sculpting, Needle Felting and more. Plus, we have a wide variety of fun options for Children and Teens. Visit our Classes page and look under Spring 2021 – Online to see everything we’re offering.
Obtain your PDF of our Spring 2021 Brochure to see what courses and workshops we have this term.
DVSA Memberships can be applied to Spring, offering great perks and advantages. Learn more about our DVSA Membership program here. Please purchase your membership first if you want to apply the benefits to Spring term courses.
Print copies of our Spring 2021 course brochure are now available at the school and select locations across the city.
Health & Safety Measures
The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is paramount. We continue to implement numerous measures to help prevent the potential transmission of COVID-19, including reduced class sizes to promote social distancing and increased sanitizing procedures. Learn more about the protocols we’ve put in place to ensure your safety here.
Updated Release of Liability Waiver
Due to COVID-19, a signed release of liability waiver is required for each adult and/or child in order to complete a registration. If you choose to register online, you’ll complete the waiver as part of your registration process. For in-person and phone registrations, be prepared to return a signed waiver form – either via email or dropping it off. We’ll walk you through the process when registering.
You can view and print/save our Adult release waiver here and the Child waiver here.
Spring Online Classes
We believe an in-studio experience is the best environment for providing art instruction. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we recognize not everyone still feels comfortable attending our in-studio sessions and therefore we’re once again offering a selection of online classes for Spring. Be sure to check our Classes page to view online course offerings. Look under the Spring 2021 term and Online Classes.
