Work on your art practice from home with hands-on exercises, discussions and critiques with DVSA faculty and fellow students. We believe an in-studio experience is the best environment for providing art instruction. However, with the COVID-19 restrictions, we recognize not everyone will feel comfortable attending our Fall in-studio sessions and therefore we’re offering a range of online class options. As with our in-studio programs, these Zoom based courses provide plenty of demonstrations, conversations and individual guidance.
There’s 18 classes in all with options in Drawing, Painting, Photography, Cartooning, Calligraphy, Woodcut Printmaking, Needle Felting and more.
Visit our Classes page to see what we’re offering and get yourself registered. Look under the Fall 2020 semester and Online.
DVSA online art classes are offered over the Zoom video platform. You’ll need a broadband internet connection along with either a desktop/laptop computer, tablet or smartphone with a working camera and microphone and the Zoom application installed. Full system requirements for using Zoom are here.
For the best experience, your broadband internet connection should have bandwidth of at least 2MB per second. Test your internet bandwidth here.
The Zoom link to your class will be sent via email before your class begins.
