Leah Walker

BFA

Leah Walker is a queer, interdisciplinary artist from Hamilton, Ontario (unceded territory of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy on neutral Attiwonderonk land). Walker holds a BFA in Fine Art from NSCAD University. They work as a community artist and educator, helping to create arts programming for the communities they are part of. Their practice involves painting, ceramics, fibre arts, and community outreach. Walker explores queerness through their art practice and endeavors to facilitate similar explorations for other intergenerational queer folk. Walker currently works as an instructor at Dundas Valley School of Art and NSCAD University.
