Whether you’re a glazing rookie or a veteran looking to add new techniques to your decorating toolkit, this two-day workshop will explore exciting ideas sure to make your pottery creations stand out. The first day will be spent exploring decorating techniques on wet clay including sgraffito, banding, resist and transfer. The next week, we’ll look at glazing methods including waxing, pouring, dipping, oxides, masking and resist. This innovative online course approaches online writing from an art and design perspective. Students should learn to use and customize Google's Blogger interface (a free and adaptable web platform) to showcase their own creative content. Interactive tutorials will introduce students to selecting interface styles, customizing templates, creating website navigation, maximizing plug ins and design features, and integrating audio and video content.
