“There are a few common denominators that inform my practice no matter what medium I choose to work in. These would be a limited palette (black, greys, white), precise composition and an interplay of materials.”
Natasja Bischoff is a native of Hamilton and a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. She has exhibited locally and has works in international private collections. She is a former member of Oswald’s Collective in Hamilton, a gallery space that was an energetic hub of creativity on James St. North during Art Crawl. Bischoff’s work is predominantly mixed media, intersecting drawing and painting as well as the use of other unconventional materials to address composition and mark making within an abstract framework.
