Alison Sawatzky
DVSA, B.Ed., O.C.T.
Alison Sawatzky is a Dundas artist. A graduate of the Dundas Valley School of Art, Foundations Programme, she has also taken courses through Sir Sanford Fleming College. She holds a teaching degree and taught art at Lee Academy for fourteen years. A member of the Hamilton Women’s Art Association of Hamilton, and the Hamilton Arts Council, Ms. Sawatzky has been painting professionally since the 1996. She exhibits in group and solo shows. Working in a variety of media, she creates both representational and abstract pieces. Her paintings, mixed media works, drawings and prints are in private collections in Canada, the U.S., Britain and New Zealand.
