Dundas By Design–A Salute to Art, Style and the Valley Town
by DVSA instructor Mark Challen
There’s a reason why Dundas, Ontario is such a popular town with residents and visitors alike. Dundas has an artistic spirit that’s irresistible. In a world that can often feel frantic and overly manufactured, Dundas is a haven for the handmade arts — a charming place where creativity is embraced, and artistic talent is celebrated by people of all ages. This visual talk will explore some of the style standouts in the valley town over the past hundred years, from its start as a Victorian industrial village, to its foray into Mid-Century Modern design, to its community of diverse artists and makers today.
Wednesday, October 23, 2024 • 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
This is a free event. Attendees are requested to RSVP in advance.
